～ パーティションと絵 ～

細長いエントランスを抜けると、夜のような空間が広がる。
絨毯は黒なので光を吸収し、毛足が長いのでまるで夜の草原を歩くよう。
そしてそこに立つラワン合板のパーティションの表側にレンガ目地を白で塗装しました。
有機質である木の表面に本来無機質なレンガ目地のグラフィックを転写することで、木の温かみを感じながらレンガブロックが持つ硬質でクールなイメージを付加。
それにより、木と一言で表現できないイメージを持つ、何か別の物質のような爽涼感が出ました。
内側にはスタンドライトのシルエットを描きました。この絵は木目と白塗装の対比によりうっすらと光を放つような存在感を醸し、目の錯覚をおこします。
またパーテション内側の個室の四隅は角を取ることで緊張感を緩和し、包まれるような空間にすることで、絵のスタンドライトの光が部屋にやさしくまわり込むように感じ取れるようにしました。
木目のパーティションに違う物質の象徴的要素を摘出したグラフィックを転写するシンプルな方法だけで、空間に奥行きを持たせました。

When you pass through the narrow entrance, the space, spreads out like the night.
The black carpet absorbs light,and its long fibres give you a feeling like walking on grass.
A brick pattern was painted in white on the front of the lauan plywood partition.
By painting an inorganic brick pattern on the surface of the wood, which is an organic material, the solidness and coolness of bricks, is added to the warmth of the wood.
As a result, a cool and refreshing feeling comes from the different substances, which can’t be expressed simply by wood.
Silhouettes of stand lights were painted on the inside walls. These give the visual illusion of faintly emitting light caused by the combination of white paint on wood grain.
In addition, the four corners of the private room within the partition were rounded to make the room more relaxing and people can feel gently wrapped by the light from t
he pictures gently encircling the rooms.
By using a simple method of combining abstract graphics on the partition with the natural grain pattern, depth was given to the space.

マンションの一室に建つ治療院。
改装工事が悪条件の中でデザインしていただき、こんな発想もあったのかと賛嘆。

マンションである為、隠れ家的ではあるが、密室感(閉塞感)を感じさせず、安心した空間を提供でき、女性の患者様からも落ち着くとのお声もいただいております。

おかげさまで、足の治療工場は毎日フル稼働です。

＜comment＞

今回の物件は基本的には現状のままで使用が基本のテナントなので床のカーペットをひいたうえにパーティションを自立させるということが基本条件なのでパーティションのデザインをメインにしながら
間接照明をつかい小空間ながら小気味よい空間になったと思います。
